19.21
قَالَ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌ ۖ وَلِنَجْعَلَهُۥٓ ءَايَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَرَحْمَةً مِّنَّا ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرًا مَّقْضِيًّا
English: Sahih International
He said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter [already] decreed.' "
English: Transliteration
Qala kathaliki qala rabbuki huwa AAalayya hayyinun walinajAAalahu ayatan lilnnasi warahmatan minna wakana amran maqdiyyan
French: Hamidullah
Il dit: «Ainsi sera-t-il! Cela M'est facile, a dit ton Seigneur! Et Nous ferons de lui un signe pour les gens, et une miséricorde de Notre part. C'est une affaire déjà décidée».
19.22
فَحَمَلَتْهُ فَٱنتَبَذَتْ بِهِۦ مَكَانًا قَصِيًّا
English: Sahih International
So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a remote place.
English: Transliteration
Fahamalathu faintabathat bihi makanan qasiyyan
French: Hamidullah
Elle devint donc enceinte [de l'enfant], et elle se retira avec lui en un lieu éloigné.
19.23
فَأَجَآءَهَا ٱلْمَخَاضُ إِلَىٰ جِذْعِ ٱلنَّخْلَةِ قَالَتْ يَٰلَيْتَنِى مِتُّ قَبْلَ هَٰذَا وَكُنتُ نَسْيًا مَّنسِيًّا
English: Sahih International
And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion, forgotten."
English: Transliteration
Faajaaha almakhadu ila jithAAi alnnakhlati qalat ya laytanee mittu qabla hatha wakuntu nasyan mansiyyan
French: Hamidullah
Puis les douleurs de l'enfantement l'amenèrent au tronc du palmier, et elle dit: «Malheur à moi! Que je fusse morte avant cet instant! Et que je fusse totalement oubliée!»
19.24
فَنَادَىٰهَا مِن تَحْتِهَآ أَلَّا تَحْزَنِى قَدْ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحْتَكِ سَرِيًّا
English: Sahih International
But he called her from below her, "Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream.
English: Transliteration
Fanadaha min tahtiha alla tahzanee qad jaAAala rabbuki tahtaki sariyyan
French: Hamidullah
Alors, il l'appela d'au-dessous d'elle, [lui disant:] «Ne t'afflige pas. Ton Seigneur a placé à tes pieds une source.
19.25
وَهُزِّىٓ إِلَيْكِ بِجِذْعِ ٱلنَّخْلَةِ تُسَٰقِطْ عَلَيْكِ رُطَبًا جَنِيًّا
English: Sahih International
And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates.
English: Transliteration
Wahuzzee ilayki bijithAAi alnnakhlati tusaqit AAalayki rutaban janiyyan
French: Hamidullah
Secoue vers toi le tronc du palmier: il fera tomber sur toi des dattes fraîches et mûres.
19.26
فَكُلِى وَٱشْرَبِى وَقَرِّى عَيْنًا ۖ فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ ٱلْبَشَرِ أَحَدًا فَقُولِىٓ إِنِّى نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ صَوْمًا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ ٱلْيَوْمَ إِنسِيًّا
English: Sahih International
So eat and drink and be contented. And if you see from among humanity anyone, say, 'Indeed, I have vowed to the Most Merciful abstention, so I will not speak today to [any] man.' "
English: Transliteration
Fakulee waishrabee waqarree AAaynan faimma tarayinna mina albashari ahadan faqoolee innee nathartu lilrrahmani sawman falan okallima alyawma insiyyan
French: Hamidullah
Mange donc et bois et que ton œil se réjouisse! Si tu vois quelqu'un d'entre les humains, dis [lui:] «Assurément, j'ai voué un jeûne au Tout Miséricordieux: je ne parlerai donc aujourd'hui à aucun être humain».
19.27
فَأَتَتْ بِهِۦ قَوْمَهَا تَحْمِلُهُۥ ۖ قَالُوا۟ يَٰمَرْيَمُ لَقَدْ جِئْتِ شَيْـًٔا فَرِيًّا
English: Sahih International
Then she brought him to her people, carrying him. They said, "O Mary, you have certainly done a thing unprecedented.
English: Transliteration
Faatat bihi qawmaha tahmiluhu qaloo ya maryamu laqad jiti shayan fariyyan
French: Hamidullah
Puis elle vint auprès des siens en le portant [le bébé]. Ils dirent: «O Marie, tu as fait une chose monstrueuse!
19.28
يَٰٓأُخْتَ هَٰرُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ ٱمْرَأَ سَوْءٍ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا
English: Sahih International
O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste."
English: Transliteration
Ya okhta haroona ma kana abooki imraa sawin wama kanat ommuki baghiyyan
French: Hamidullah
«Sœur de Hârûn, ton père n'était pas un homme de mal et ta mère n'était pas une prostituée».
19.29
فَأَشَارَتْ إِلَيْهِ ۖ قَالُوا۟ كَيْفَ نُكَلِّمُ مَن كَانَ فِى ٱلْمَهْدِ صَبِيًّا
English: Sahih International
So she pointed to him. They said, "How can we speak to one who is in the cradle a child?"
English: Transliteration
Faasharat ilayhi qaloo kayfa nukallimu man kana fee almahdi sabiyyan
French: Hamidullah
Elle fit alors un signe vers lui [le bébé]. Ils dirent: «Comment parlerions-nous à un bébé au berceau?»
19.30
قَالَ إِنِّى عَبْدُ ٱللَّهِ ءَاتَىٰنِىَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلَنِى نَبِيًّا
English: Sahih International
[Jesus] said, "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet.
English: Transliteration
Qala innee AAabdu Allahi ataniya alkitaba wajaAAalanee nabiyyan
French: Hamidullah
Mais (le bébé) dit: «Je suis vraiment le serviteur d'Allah. Il m'a donné le Livre et m'a désigné Prophète.
