2.201 
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ
English: Sahih International
But among them is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
English: Transliteration
Waminhum man yaqoolu rabbana atina fee alddunya hasanatan wafee alakhirati hasanatan waqina AAathaba alnnari
French: Hamidullah
Et il est des gens qui disent: «Seigneur! Accorde nous belle part ici-bas, et belle part aussi dans l'au-delà; et protège-nous du châtiment du Feu!»
2.202
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا كَسَبُوا۟ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ سَرِيعُ ٱلْحِسَابِ
English: Sahih International
Those will have a share of what they have earned, and Allah is swift in account.
English: Transliteration
Olaika lahum naseebun mimma kasaboo waAllahu sareeAAu alhisabi
French: Hamidullah
Ceux-là auront une part de ce qu'ils auront acquis. Et Allah est prompt à faire rendre compte.
2.203
وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فِىٓ أَيَّامٍ مَّعْدُودَٰتٍ ۚ فَمَن تَعَجَّلَ فِى يَوْمَيْنِ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَن تَأَخَّرَ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ ۚ لِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰ ۗ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
English: Sahih International
And remember Allah during [specific] numbered days. Then whoever hastens [his departure] in two days - there is no sin upon him; and whoever delays [until the third] - there is no sin upon him - for him who fears Allah. And fear Allah and know that unto Him you will be gathered.
English: Transliteration
Waothkuroo Allaha fee ayyamin maAAdoodatin faman taAAajjala fee yawmayni fala ithma AAalayhi waman taakhkhara fala ithma AAalayhi limani ittaqa waittaqoo Allaha waiAAlamoo annakum ilayhi tuhsharoona
French: Hamidullah
Et invoquez Allah pendant un nombre de jours déterminés. Ensuite, il n'y a pas de péché, pour qui se comporte en piété, à partir au bout de deux jours, à s'attarder non plus. Et craignez Allah. Et sachez que c'est vers Lui que vous serez rassemblés.
2.204
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُعْجِبُكَ قَوْلُهُۥ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَيُشْهِدُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا فِى قَلْبِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَلَدُّ ٱلْخِصَامِ
English: Sahih International
And of the people is he whose speech pleases you in worldly life, and he calls Allah to witness as to what is in his heart, yet he is the fiercest of opponents.
English: Transliteration
Wamina alnnasi man yuAAjibuka qawluhu fee alhayati alddunya wayushhidu Allaha AAala ma fee qalbihi wahuwa aladdu alkhisami
French: Hamidullah
Il y a parmi les gens celui dont la parole sur la vie présente te plaît, et qui prend Allah à témoin de ce qu'il a dans le cœur, tandis que c'est le plus acharné disputeur.
2.205
وَإِذَا تَوَلَّىٰ سَعَىٰ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لِيُفْسِدَ فِيهَا وَيُهْلِكَ ٱلْحَرْثَ وَٱلنَّسْلَ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْفَسَادَ
English: Sahih International
And when he goes away, he strives throughout the land to cause corruption therein and destroy crops and animals. And Allah does not like corruption.
English: Transliteration
Waitha tawalla saAAa fee alardi liyufsida feeha wayuhlika alhartha waalnnasla waAllahu la yuhibbu alfasada
French: Hamidullah
Dès qu'il tourne le dos, il parcourt la terre pour y semer le désordre et saccager culture et bétail. Et Allah n'aime pas le désordre!
2.206
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ ٱتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ أَخَذَتْهُ ٱلْعِزَّةُ بِٱلْإِثْمِ ۚ فَحَسْبُهُۥ جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَلَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ
English: Sahih International
And when it is said to him, "Fear Allah," pride in the sin takes hold of him. Sufficient for him is Hellfire, and how wretched is the resting place.
English: Transliteration
Waitha qeela lahu ittaqi Allaha akhathathu alAAizzatu bialithmi fahasbuhu jahannamu walabisa almihadu
French: Hamidullah
Et quand on lui dit: «Redoute Allah», l'orgueil criminel s'empare de lui. L'Enfer lui suffira, et quel mauvais lit, certes!
2.207
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشْرِى نَفْسَهُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ
English: Sahih International
And of the people is he who sells himself, seeking means to the approval of Allah. And Allah is kind to [His] servants.
English: Transliteration
Wamina alnnasi man yashree nafsahu ibtighaa mardati Allahi waAllahu raoofun bialAAibadi
French: Hamidullah
Et il y a parmi les gens celui qui se sacrifie pour la recherche de l'agrément d'Allah. Et Allah est Compatissant envers Ses serviteurs.
2.208
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ فِى ٱلسِّلْمِ كَآفَّةً وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
English: Sahih International
O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [and perfectly] and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
English: Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo odkhuloo fee alssilmi kaffatan wala tattabiAAoo khutuwati alshshaytani innahu lakum AAaduwwun mubeenun
French: Hamidullah
O les croyants! Entrez en plein dans l'Islam, et ne suivez point les pas du diable, car il est certes pour vous un ennemi déclaré.
2.209
فَإِن زَلَلْتُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْكُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُ فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
English: Sahih International
But if you deviate after clear proofs have come to you, then know that Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
English: Transliteration
Fain zalaltum min baAAdi ma jaatkumu albayyinatu faiAAlamoo anna Allaha AAazeezun hakeemun
French: Hamidullah
Puis, si vous bronchez, après que les preuves vous soient venues, sachez alors qu'Allah est Puissant et Sage.
2.210
هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِى ظُلَلٍ مِّنَ ٱلْغَمَامِ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْأُمُورُ
English: Sahih International
Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds and the angels [as well] and the matter is [then] decided? And to Allah [all] matters are returned.
English: Transliteration
Hal yanthuroona illa an yatiyahumu Allahu fee thulalin mina alghamami waalmalaikatu waqudiya alamru waila Allahi turjaAAu alomooru
French: Hamidullah
Qu'attendent-ils sinon qu'Allah leur vienne à l'ombre des nuées de même que les Anges et que leur sort soit réglé? Et c'est à Allah que toute chose est ramenée.
