26.41
فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالُوا۟ لِفِرْعَوْنَ أَئِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجْرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحْنُ ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ
English: Sahih International
And when the magicians arrived, they said to Pharaoh, "Is there indeed for us a reward if we are the predominant?"
English: Transliteration
Falamma jaa alssaharatu qaloo lifirAAawna ainna lana laajran in kunna nahnu alghalibeena
French: Hamidullah
Puis, lorsque les magiciens arrivèrent, ils dirent à Pharaon: «Y aura-t-il vraiment une récompense pour nous, si nous sommes les vainqueurs?»
26.42
قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَّمِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ
English: Sahih International
He said, "Yes, and indeed, you will then be of those near [to me]."
English: Transliteration
Qala naAAam wainnakum ithan lamina almuqarrabeena
French: Hamidullah
Il dit: «Oui, bien sûr, vous serez alors parmi mes proches!»
26.43
قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰٓ أَلْقُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُم مُّلْقُونَ
English: Sahih International
Moses said to them, "Throw whatever you will throw."
English: Transliteration
Qala lahum moosa alqoo ma antum mulqoona
French: Hamidullah
Moïse leur dit: «Jetez ce que vous avez à jeter».
26.44
فَأَلْقَوْا۟ حِبَالَهُمْ وَعِصِيَّهُمْ وَقَالُوا۟ بِعِزَّةِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ
English: Sahih International
So they threw their ropes and their staffs and said, "By the might of Pharaoh, indeed it is we who are predominant."
English: Transliteration
Faalqaw hibalahum waAAisiyyahum waqaloo biAAizzati firAAawna inna lanahnu alghaliboona
French: Hamidullah
Ils jetèrent donc leurs cordes et leurs bâtons et dirent: «Par la puissance de Pharaon!... C'est nous qui serons les vainqueurs».
26.45
فَأَلْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ
English: Sahih International
Then Moses threw his staff, and at once it devoured what they falsified.
English: Transliteration
Faalqa moosa AAasahu faitha hiya talqafu ma yafikoona
French: Hamidullah
Puis Moïse jeta son bâton, et voilà qu'il happait ce qu'ils avaient fabriqué.
26.46
فَأُلْقِىَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سَٰجِدِينَ
English: Sahih International
So the magicians fell down in prostration [to Allah].
English: Transliteration
Faolqiya alssaharatu sajideena
French: Hamidullah
Alors les magiciens tombèrent prosternés,
26.47
قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
English: Sahih International
They said, "We have believed in the Lord of the worlds,
English: Transliteration
Qaloo amanna birabbi alAAalameena
French: Hamidullah
disant: «Nous croyons au Seigneur de l'univers,
26.48
رَبِّ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ
English: Sahih International
The Lord of Moses and Aaron."
English: Transliteration
Rabbi moosa waharoona
French: Hamidullah
Le Seigneur de Moïse et d'Aaron».
26.49
قَالَ ءَامَنتُمْ لَهُۥ قَبْلَ أَنْ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَكُمُ ٱلسِّحْرَ فَلَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۚ لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُم مِّنْ خِلَٰفٍ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
English: Sahih International
[Pharaoh] said, "You believed Moses before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic, but you are going to know. I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will surely crucify you all."
English: Transliteration
Qala amantum lahu qabla an athana lakum innahu lakabeerukumu allathee AAallamakumu alssihra falasawfa taAAlamoona laoqattiAAanna aydiyakum waarjulakum min khilafin walaosallibannakum ajmaAAeena
French: Hamidullah
[Pharaon] dit: «Avez-vous cru en lui avant que je ne vous le permette? En vérité, c'est lui votre chef, qui vous a enseigné la magie! Eh bien, vous saurez bientôt! Je vous couperai, sûrement, mains et jambes opposées, et vous crucifierai tous».
26.50
قَالُوا۟ لَا ضَيْرَ ۖ إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ
English: Sahih International
They said, "No harm. Indeed, to our Lord we will return.
English: Transliteration
Qaloo la dayra inna ila rabbina munqaliboona
French: Hamidullah
Ils disent: «Il n'y a pas de mal! Car c'est vers notre Seigneur que nous retournerons.
