Sura 31 - لقمان (Luqman) - Luqman

31.21 
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ قَالُوا۟ بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ ءَابَآءَنَآ ۚ أَوَلَوْ كَانَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
English: Sahih International
And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that upon which we found our fathers." Even if Satan was inviting them to the punishment of the Blaze?
English: Transliteration
Waitha qeela lahumu ittabiAAoo ma anzala Allahu qaloo bal nattabiAAu ma wajadna AAalayhi abaana awalaw kana alshshaytanu yadAAoohum ila AAathabi alssaAAeeri
French: Hamidullah
Et quand on leur dit: «Suivez ce qu'Allah a fait descendre», ils disent: «Nous suivons plutôt ce sur quoi nous avons trouvé nos ancêtres». Est-ce donc même si le Diable les appelait au châtiment de la fournaise!
31.22
وَمَن يُسْلِمْ وَجْهَهُۥٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَقَدِ ٱسْتَمْسَكَ بِٱلْعُرْوَةِ ٱلْوُثْقَىٰ ۗ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْأُمُورِ
English: Sahih International
And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters.
English: Transliteration
Waman yuslim wajhahu ila Allahi wahuwa muhsinun faqadi istamsaka bialAAurwati alwuthqa waila Allahi AAaqibatu alomoori
French: Hamidullah
Et quiconque soumet son être à Allah, tout en étant bienfaisant, s'accroche réellement à l'anse la plus ferme. La fin de toute chose appartient à Allah.
31.23
وَمَن كَفَرَ فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ كُفْرُهُۥٓ ۚ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
English: Sahih International
And whoever has disbelieved - let not his disbelief grieve you. To Us is their return, and We will inform them of what they did. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts.
English: Transliteration
Waman kafara fala yahzunka kufruhu ilayna marjiAAuhum fanunabbiohum bima AAamiloo inna Allaha AAaleemun bithati alssudoori
French: Hamidullah
Celui qui a mécru, que sa mécréance ne t'afflige pas: vers Nous sera leur retour et Nous les informerons de ce qu'ils faisaient. Allah connaît bien le contenu des poitrines.
31.24
نُمَتِّعُهُمْ قَلِيلًا ثُمَّ نَضْطَرُّهُمْ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍ
English: Sahih International
We grant them enjoyment for a little; then We will force them to a massive punishment.
English: Transliteration
NumattiAAuhum qaleelan thumma nadtarruhum ila AAathabin ghaleethin
French: Hamidullah
Nous leur donnons de la jouissance pour peu de temps; ensuite Nous les forcerons vers un dur châtiment.
31.25
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُ ۚ قُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
English: Sahih International
And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "[All] praise is [due] to Allah "; but most of them do not know.
English: Transliteration
Walain saaltahum man khalaqa alssamawati waalarda layaqoolunna Allahu quli alhamdu lillahi bal aktharuhum la yaAAlamoona
French: Hamidullah
Si tu leur demandes: «Qui a créé les cieux et la terre?», ils diront, certes: «Allah!» Dis: «Louange à Allah!». Mais la plupart d'entre eux ne savent pas.
31.26
لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ٱلْحَمِيدُ
English: Sahih International
To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. Indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.
English: Transliteration
Lillahi ma fee alssamawati waalardi inna Allaha huwa alghaniyyu alhameedu
French: Hamidullah
A Allah appartient tout ce qui est dans les cieux et en terre. Allah est Celui qui se suffit à Lui-même, Il est Le Digne de louange!
31.27
وَلَوْ أَنَّمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِن شَجَرَةٍ أَقْلَٰمٌ وَٱلْبَحْرُ يَمُدُّهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ سَبْعَةُ أَبْحُرٍ مَّا نَفِدَتْ كَلِمَٰتُ ٱللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
English: Sahih International
And if whatever trees upon the earth were pens and the sea [was ink], replenished thereafter by seven [more] seas, the words of Allah would not be exhausted. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
English: Transliteration
Walaw annama fee alardi min shajaratin aqlamun waalbahru yamudduhu min baAAdihi sabAAatu abhurin ma nafidat kalimatu Allahi inna Allaha AAazeezun hakeemun
French: Hamidullah
Quand bien même tous les arbres de la terre se changeraient en calames [plumes pour écrire], quand bien même l'océan serait un océan d'encre où conflueraient sept autres océans, les paroles d'Allah ne s'épuiseraient pas. Car Allah est Puissant et Sage.
31.28
مَّا خَلْقُكُمْ وَلَا بَعْثُكُمْ إِلَّا كَنَفْسٍ وَٰحِدَةٍ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌۢ بَصِيرٌ
English: Sahih International
Your creation and your resurrection will not be but as that of a single soul. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing.
English: Transliteration
Ma khalqukum wala baAAthukum illa kanafsin wahidatin inna Allaha sameeAAun baseerun
French: Hamidullah
Votre création et votre résurrection [à tous] sont [aussi faciles à Allah] que s'il s'agissait d'une seule âme. Certes Allah est Audient et Clairvoyant.
31.29
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ
English: Sahih International
Do you not see that Allah causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term, and that Allah, with whatever you do, is Acquainted?
English: Transliteration
Alam tara anna Allaha yooliju allayla fee alnnahari wayooliju alnnahara fee allayli wasakhkhara alshshamsa waalqamara kullun yajree ila ajalin musamman waanna Allaha bima taAAmaloona khabeerun
French: Hamidullah
N'as-tu pas vu qu'Allah fait pénétrer la nuit dans le jour, et qu'il fait pénétrer le jour dans la nuit, et qu'Il a assujetti le soleil et la lune chacun poursuivant sa course jusqu'à un terme fixé? Et Allah est Parfaitement Connaisseur de ce que vous faites.
31.30
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ ٱلْبَٰطِلُ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْكَبِيرُ
English: Sahih International
That is because Allah is the Truth, and that what they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High, the Grand.
English: Transliteration
Thalika bianna Allaha huwa alhaqqu waanna ma yadAAoona min doonihi albatilu waanna Allaha huwa alAAaliyyu alkabeeru
French: Hamidullah
Il en est ainsi parce qu'Allah est la Vérité, et que tout ce qu'ils invoquent en dehors de Lui est le Faux, et qu'Allah, c'est Lui le Haut, le Grand.
