43.11
وَٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۢ بِقَدَرٍ فَأَنشَرْنَا بِهِۦ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ
English: Sahih International
And who sends down rain from the sky in measured amounts, and We revive thereby a dead land - thus will you be brought forth -
English: Transliteration
Waallathee nazzala mina alssamai maan biqadarin faansharna bihi baldatan maytan kathalika tukhrajoona
French: Hamidullah
Celui qui a fait descendre l'eau du ciel avec mesure et avec laquelle Nous ranimons une cité morte [aride]. Ainsi vous serez ressuscités;
43.12
وَٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْفُلْكِ وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ مَا تَرْكَبُونَ
English: Sahih International
And who created the species, all of them, and has made for you of ships and animals those which you mount.
English: Transliteration
Waallathee khalaqa alazwaja kullaha wajaAAala lakum mina alfulki waalanAAami ma tarkaboona
French: Hamidullah
Celui qui a créé les couples dans leur totalité et a fait pour vous, des vaisseaux et des bestiaux, des montures,
43.13
لِتَسْتَوُۥا۟ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِۦ ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَةَ رَبِّكُمْ إِذَا ٱسْتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَقُولُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُۥ مُقْرِنِينَ
English: Sahih International
That you may settle yourselves upon their backs and then remember the favor of your Lord when you have settled upon them and say. "Exalted is He who has subjected this to us, and we could not have [otherwise] subdued it.
English: Transliteration
Litastawoo AAala thuhoorihi thumma tathkuroo niAAmata rabbikum itha istawaytum AAalayhi wataqooloo subhana allathee sakhkhara lana hatha wama kunna lahu muqrineena
French: Hamidullah
afin que vous vous installiez sur leurs dos, et qu'ensuite, après vous y être installés, vous vous rappeliez le bienfait de votre Seigneur et que vous disiez: «Gloire à Celui qui nous a soumis tout cela alors que nous n'étions pas capables de les dominer.
43.14
وَإِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ
English: Sahih International
And indeed we, to our Lord, will [surely] return."
English: Transliteration
Wainna ila rabbina lamunqaliboona
French: Hamidullah
C'est vers notre Seigneur que nous retournerons».
43.15
وَجَعَلُوا۟ لَهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ جُزْءًا ۚ إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَكَفُورٌ مُّبِينٌ
English: Sahih International
But they have attributed to Him from His servants a portion. Indeed, man is clearly ungrateful.
English: Transliteration
WajaAAaloo lahu min AAibadihi juzan inna alinsana lakafoorun mubeenun
French: Hamidullah
Et ils Lui firent de Ses serviteurs une partie [de Lui-Même]. L'homme est vraiment un ingrat déclaré!
43.16
أَمِ ٱتَّخَذَ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ بَنَاتٍ وَأَصْفَىٰكُم بِٱلْبَنِينَ
English: Sahih International
Or has He taken, out of what He has created, daughters and chosen you for [having] sons?
English: Transliteration
Ami ittakhatha mimma yakhluqu banatin waasfakum bialbaneena
French: Hamidullah
Ou bien Se serait-Il attribué des filles parmi ce qu'Il crée et accordé à vous par préférence des fils?
43.17
وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ مَثَلًا ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
English: Sahih International
And when one of them is given good tidings of that which he attributes to the Most Merciful in comparison, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.
English: Transliteration
Waitha bushshira ahaduhum bima daraba lilrrahmani mathalan thalla wajhuhu muswaddan wahuwa katheemun
French: Hamidullah
Or, quand on annonce à l'un d'eux (la naissance) d'une semblable de ce qu'il attribue au Tout Miséricordieux, son visage s'assombrit d'un chagrin profond.
43.18
أَوَمَن يُنَشَّؤُا۟ فِى ٱلْحِلْيَةِ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلْخِصَامِ غَيْرُ مُبِينٍ
English: Sahih International
So is one brought up in ornaments while being during conflict unevident [attributed to Allah]?
English: Transliteration
Awaman yunashshao fee alhilyati wahuwa fee alkhisami ghayru mubeenin
French: Hamidullah
Quoi! Cet être (la fille) élevé au milieu des parures et qui, dans la dispute, est incapable de se défendre par une argumentation claire et convaincante?
43.19
وَجَعَلُوا۟ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عِبَٰدُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ إِنَٰثًا ۚ أَشَهِدُوا۟ خَلْقَهُمْ ۚ سَتُكْتَبُ شَهَٰدَتُهُمْ وَيُسْـَٔلُونَ
English: Sahih International
And they have made the angels, who are servants of the Most Merciful, females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned.
English: Transliteration
WajaAAaloo almalaikata allatheena hum AAibadu alrrahmani inathan ashahidoo khalqahum satuktabu shahadatuhum wayusaloona
French: Hamidullah
Et ils firent des Anges qui sont les serviteurs du Tout Miséricordieux des [êtres] féminins! Etaient-ils témoins de leur création? Leur témoignage sera alors inscrit; et ils seront interrogés.
43.20
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْ شَآءَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ مَا عَبَدْنَٰهُم ۗ مَّا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ
English: Sahih International
And they said, "If the Most Merciful had willed, we would not have worshipped them." They have of that no knowledge. They are not but falsifying.
English: Transliteration
Waqaloo law shaa alrrahmanu ma AAabadnahum ma lahum bithalika min AAilmin in hum illa yakhrusoona
French: Hamidullah
Et ils dirent: «Si le Tout Miséricordieux avait voulu, nous ne les aurions pas adorés». Ils n'en ont aucune connaissance; ils ne font que se livrer à des conjectures.
