Bayt Al-Hikma

53.21   

أَلَكُمُ ٱلذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ ٱلْأُنثَىٰ

English: Sahih International
Is the male for you and for Him the female?

English: Transliteration
Alakumu alththakaru walahu alontha

French: Hamidullah
Sera-ce à vous le garçon et à Lui la fille?

53.22   

تِلْكَ إِذًا قِسْمَةٌ ضِيزَىٰٓ

English: Sahih International
That, then, is an unjust division.

English: Transliteration
Tilka ithan qismatun deeza

French: Hamidullah
Que voilà donc un partage injuste!

53.23   

إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّآ أَسْمَآءٌ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمْ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَٰنٍ ۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى ٱلْأَنفُسُ ۖ وَلَقَدْ جَآءَهُم مِّن رَّبِّهِمُ ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ

English: Sahih International
They are not but [mere] names you have named them - you and your forefathers - for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow not except assumption and what [their] souls desire, and there has already come to them from their Lord guidance.

English: Transliteration
In hiya illa asmaon sammaytumooha antum waabaokum ma anzala Allahu biha min sultanin in yattabiAAoona illa alththanna wama tahwa alanfusu walaqad jaahum min rabbihimu alhuda

French: Hamidullah
Ce ne sont que des noms que vous avez inventés, vous et vos ancêtres. Allah n'a fait descendre aucune preuve à leur sujet. Ils ne suivent que la conjecture et les passions de [leurs] âmes, alors que la guidée leur est venue de leur Seigneur.

53.24   

أَمْ لِلْإِنسَٰنِ مَا تَمَنَّىٰ

English: Sahih International
Or is there for man whatever he wishes?

English: Transliteration
Am lilinsani ma tamanna

French: Hamidullah
Ou bien l'homme aura-t-il tout ce qu'il désire?

53.25   

فَلِلَّهِ ٱلْءَاخِرَةُ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ

English: Sahih International
Rather, to Allah belongs the Hereafter and the first [life].

English: Transliteration
Falillahi alakhiratu waaloola

French: Hamidullah
A Allah appartiennent la vie future et la vie d'ici-bas.

53.26   

وَكَم مِّن مَّلَكٍ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ لَا تُغْنِى شَفَٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ أَن يَأْذَنَ ٱللَّهُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَرْضَىٰٓ

English: Sahih International
And how many angels there are in the heavens whose intercession will not avail at all except [only] after Allah has permitted [it] to whom He wills and approves.

English: Transliteration
Wakam min malakin fee alssamawati la tughnee shafaAAatuhum shayan illa min baAAdi an yathana Allahu liman yashao wayarda

French: Hamidullah
Et que d'Anges dans les cieux dont l'intercession ne sert à rien, sinon qu'après qu'Allah l'aura permis, en faveur de qui Il veut et qu'Il agrée.

53.27   

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ تَسْمِيَةَ ٱلْأُنثَىٰ

English: Sahih International
Indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter name the angels female names,

English: Transliteration
Inna allatheena la yuminoona bialakhirati layusammoona almalaikata tasmiyata alontha

French: Hamidullah
Ceux qui ne croient pas en l'au-delà donnent aux Anges des noms de femmes,

53.28   

وَمَا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ ۖ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ شَيْـًٔا

English: Sahih International
And they have thereof no knowledge. They follow not except assumption, and indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all.

English: Transliteration
Wama lahum bihi min AAilmin in yattabiAAoona illa alththanna wainna alththanna la yughnee mina alhaqqi shayan

French: Hamidullah
alors qu'ils n'en ont aucune science: ils ne suivent que la conjecture, alors que la conjecture ne sert à rien contre la vérité.

53.29   

فَأَعْرِضْ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّىٰ عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَلَمْ يُرِدْ إِلَّا ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا

English: Sahih International
So turn away from whoever turns his back on Our message and desires not except the worldly life.

English: Transliteration
FaaAArid AAan man tawalla AAan thikrina walam yurid illa alhayata alddunya

French: Hamidullah
Ecarte-toi donc, de celui qui tourne le dos à Notre rappel et qui ne désire que la vie présente.

53.30   

ذَٰلِكَ مَبْلَغُهُم مِّنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ

English: Sahih International
That is their sum of knowledge. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who strays from His way, and He is most knowing of who is guided.

English: Transliteration
Thalika mablaghuhum mina alAAilmi inna rabbaka huwa aAAlamu biman dalla AAan sabeelihi wahuwa aAAlamu bimani ihtada

French: Hamidullah
Voilà toute la portée de leur savoir. Certes ton Seigneur connaît parfaitement celui qui s'égare de Son chemin et Il connaît parfaitement qui est bien guidé.
