Bayt Al-Hikma

77.21   

فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ

English: Sahih International
And We placed it in a firm lodging

English: Transliteration
FajaAAalnahu fee qararin makeenin

French: Hamidullah
que Nous avons placée dans un reposoir sûr,

77.22   

إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ

English: Sahih International
For a known extent.

English: Transliteration
Ila qadarin maAAloomin

French: Hamidullah
pour une durée connue?

77.23   

فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَٰدِرُونَ

English: Sahih International
And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine.

English: Transliteration
Faqadarna faniAAma alqadiroona

French: Hamidullah
Nous l'avons décrété ainsi et Nous décrétons [tout] de façon parfaite.

77.24   

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

English: Sahih International
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

English: Transliteration
Waylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena

French: Hamidullah
Malheur, ce jour-là, à ceux qui criaient au mensonge.

77.25   

أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا

English: Sahih International
Have We not made the earth a container

English: Transliteration
Alam najAAali alarda kifatan

French: Hamidullah
N'avons-Nous pas fait de la terre un endroit les contenant tous,

77.26   

أَحْيَآءً وَأَمْوَٰتًا

English: Sahih International
Of the living and the dead?

English: Transliteration
Ahyaan waamwatan

French: Hamidullah
les vivants ainsi que les morts?

77.27   

وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا

English: Sahih International
And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water.

English: Transliteration
WajaAAalna feeha rawasiya shamikhatin waasqaynakum maan furatan

French: Hamidullah
Et n'y avons-Nous pas placé fermement de hautes montagnes? Et ne vous avons-Nous pas abreuvés d'eau douce?

77.28   

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

English: Sahih International
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

English: Transliteration
Waylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena

French: Hamidullah
Malheur, ce jour-là, à ceux qui criaient au mensonge.

77.29   

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

English: Sahih International
[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny.

English: Transliteration
Intaliqoo ila ma kuntum bihi tukaththiboona

French: Hamidullah
Allez vers ce que vous traitiez alors de mensonge!

77.30   

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٍ

English: Sahih International
Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns

English: Transliteration
Intaliqoo ila thillin thee thalathi shuAAabin

French: Hamidullah
Allez vers une ombre [fumée de l'Enfer] à trois branches;
